Pedal Commander what? Sprint Booster what? I can feel faster just by adding a little gizmo?

I ended up picking up a Pedal Commander for my Taco. It's a doohickey that adds more voltage to the drive-by-wire gas pedals that many newish cars (2000+) have versus the old fashion cable throttle.

I loved it in my Golf R and did a video on it. It's actually my highest viewing video ever by a landslide!

My theory...and I say mine is manufacturers wanted to get the highest EPA MPG ratings they can so if a driver can't make their car go fast or they feel it won't go, they'll put less efforts and accelerating which in turns saves gas. Little did they know drivers decided to punch it all the time at full WOT (Wide Open Throttle) or simply mashed the gas! 

This has actually helped people get better mpg.

I'm a tune tester!!!!

I'm going to be testing a piggy back tuner called TuningBox on my R soon. It'll be dynoed on the same dyno as the JB1 I have. I'm curious on my butt dyno results and overall driveability. Stay "tuned" pun intended.

So far it appears that the TuningBox is a multi-platform type of item meaning it can fit several cars depending on the configuration. 

There are 3 specific plugs for the piggyback which reminds me of the Neuspeed product.

Pedal Box your way to full throttle!

Picked up a PedalBox throttle booster and installed it.

It wasn't too hard disconnecting the harness and connecting the unit but I cheated and read someone's post with pics. If you don't install it securely you'll get Christmas lights in your dash and it'll run like crap.

It looks exactly like the Remus Responder down to the shape and lights. I'm going to say one is a relabel.

I think overall the pro is if you don't want an ecu tune and no warranty hassles this is a nice feature.

Don't put it in sport plus in bumper to bumper traffic. You will probably plow into another car or wall like you see on TV.

And don't leave it on for anybody borrowing your car. Seriously here.
