coin tray for your R ONCE you get it open!!!!

So after finding out due to government laws that the center armrest is bolted shut due to the electronic emergency brake, I fixed that then decided on getting a nice coin tray for it.

I picked it up from ebay for about $12 then later noticed aliexpress has them for $9 to $10 shipped from China but hey I'm patient vs spending $30 for the same thing from a US vendor.

Dipping wheels and emblems. Cheap way to change things up

One of my first mods was using PlastiDip to change my wheel color and black out my front and rear emblems.

Emblems were coated with matte black then glossifier.

The wheels I wanted a bronze hue and used 3 coats of matte black, 2 good coats of copper metallizer and 2 coats of glossifier. The nice thing about dipping the wheels is the color is close to brake dust color so I just hose it off and go on my way.

My new VW Golf R

Picked it up in June and enjoying it. It's my first VW ever. I've owned 40 cars prior and this is the first dub.
